The Christmas for Kids' crew is once more raising funds to help children in our community for this coming holiday season. Christmas for Kids needs your help to ensure that every child has a cheerful Christmas that they'll remember for many years. Each previous year we had seen this endeavor grow. We find more children in need & have more volunteers helping. For the past 25 years (this being the 26th), area businesses and individuals have continued to show their support. Your thoughtful donation will have a profound effect on these children. This past year (2020), we bought gifts, clothes, boots, etc. for 254 kids. Through word-of-mouth referrals, church groups, and other local programs we find many of these children's names. We don't simply buy a toy or a pair of shoes, but seek out the adult(s) in their life and really find out what's on their WANT and NEED list, including warm clothes.

To accent the world maps, Triangle Electric installed state-of-the-art LED lighting that would backlight the map and also be hidden from plain view.
This lighting technique involved cooperation with masons and stone crafters to provide an effective method to install the lights as the wall took shape. The Triangle Electric team also installed LED decorative light poles to accent the walkways leading up to the wall monument, further enhancing the elegance of this memorial.

Throughout September, Triangle Electric was celebrating National Tradesmen Day which was created by Irwin tools in 2011 to celebrate and show just how important tradesmen are.

National Tradesmen Day Celebrates all of the hard-working people out there that do hands-on work to make our communities & homes function properly and efficiently. This includes electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and so much more. These committed men and women work hard to ensure that everything in our lives functions the way they should, which is why tradespeople are so important! Being a tradesman opens the door to numerous opportunities, and it is an incredibly rewarding career field! Every day is a new challenge, which brings a sense of accomplishment when you build or fix something with your own two hands.

Each trade field is different from the other, but they are each physically and mentally demanding in their own ways. Tradespeople have a unique skill to solve issues quickly and to get the job done! Being a tradesman opens the door to numerous opportunities, and it is an incredibly rewarding career field! Every day is a new challenge, which brings a sense of accomplishment whenever a job is completed. We believe that everybody should learn at least one trade in their life so that they can comprehend how interesting yet challenging it can be!

Triangle Electric has been a part of the Bakken community since it was established in 1946! At the start of the company, a big part of the business was expanding rural electrification to western North Dakota and eastern Montana. By the 1950s, Triangle Electric had begun offering services to the oil and gas industry and had participated in the first major oil boom in the Williston Basin. As the Bakken grew, so did the amount of residential and commercial construction projects in the region, some of which still serve our communities to this day! Since then, Triangle Electric Inc. has grown with the Bakken and has continued to serve the Williston community and surrounding areas. Triangle Electric now has approximately 300 electricians and support staff to support the Bakken’s electrical needs!

At Triangle Electric, we take immense pride in our work, diligence, and dedication to providing the best electrical services in the region! We firmly believe that our people make the difference, and we wouldn’t have received this award without their hard work! We would like to express our gratitude to all who nominated & voted for Triangle Electric as Best Electrician, as well as our amazing team that made it happen! It is an honor to have received the Best of the Bakken 2020 Award for the fourth year in a row, and we look forward to continuing to provide electrical services to the Bakken!

National Tradesmen Day with Triangle Electric

Throughout September, Triangle Electric was celebrating National Tradesmen Day. This day was created by Irwin tools in 2011 to celebrate and show just how important tradesmen are. It only happens once a year on the third Friday of September, but we believe honoring our tradesmen should happen all year long!

National Tradesmen Day Celebrates all of the hard-working people out there that do hands-on work. This includes electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and so much more. These committed men and women work hard to ensure that everything in our lives functions the way they should, which is why tradespeople are so important! In the past decade or so, the amount of people interested in trade work has declined. However, being a tradesman opens the door to numerous opportunities, and it is an incredibly rewarding career field! Every day is a new challenge, which brings a sense of accomplishment when you build or fix something with your own two hands.

Triangle Electric is very fortunate in having the best electrician tradesmen and women around! This month, we have been honoring and featuring some of our tradesmen through our employee spotlights and will continue to do so for the rest of the year! Check out some of our hard-working team members!

Also, he has learned an immense amount about EMT conduit! In five years he sees himself as a journeyman (possibly master) electrician with excellent work, a great retirement package, and debt-free! Jason would like to thank God for the wonderful gifts & blessings in his life. And also his co-worker, Greg, for doing everything he can to make sure the team completes their work on time and with as few hiccups as possible. He’d also like to give a shoutout to Dave for being the smartest foreman he’s known, and also shout out to his entire team at Triangle Electric!

Triangle Electric has been a part of the Bakken community since 1946. When the oil and gas exploration began in North Dakota in the early 1950s, Triangle Electric participated in the first major oil boom in the Williston Basin. Commercial and residential construction projects were at an all-time high, and these structures still serve our community. Since then, Triangle Electric has continuously grown and now has approximately 300 electricians and support staff.

We are proud and honored to be named as Best Electrician for the Best of the Bakken 2019 Awards. At Triangle Electric, we take pride in our hard work, diligence, and dedication to providing the Bakken with the best electrical services around! We would like to thank all of the voters who nominated and voted for Triangle Electric for Best Electrician, as well as our amazing team that makes everything happen! It is a huge honor to have won this award for the third year in a row, and we look forward to continuing to provide electrifying services to the Bakken.

Brandon Johnson has been a long-time employee of Triangle Electric! A month ago, we celebrated Brandon Johnson’s 16 year anniversary at Triangle Electric, and we couldn’t be happier about it. In celebration, we wanted to show the man behind the job!

Brandon Johnson graduated from the North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) at Wahpeton in 2001.

He started working for Triangle as an Apprentice Electrician, but he eventually obtained his ND journeyman’s license, and then went on to obtain his Master’s License. Triangle Electric is all about rewarding hard work, so Brandon worked his way up from the bottom to the top of this company.

Outside of work, he is a proud father of 3 girls: Grace, Molly, and Sadie. He’s actively involved in their extracurricular sports (basketball), and he enjoys going on family vacations during the summer! He likes fishing and camping.

Finally, he enjoys doing all of this with his wife Mellissa! He enjoys raising his family here in Williston, and he spends a large portion of his time into local community organizations such as the Williston Teton Booster Club, Williston State College Foundation, and many others.

Thanks for all that you do Brandon!

National Tradesmen Day with Triangle Electric

Throughout the month of September, we were celebrating National Tradesmen Day. This holiday was created by Irwin Tools in 2011, we wanted to show just how important our tradesmen are, starting with our very own Triangle crew! Although it only happens once a year on the Third Tuesday of September, we believe we should do it all year round! Our country would not be able to function without the contribution of our country’s tradespeople. So what are the reasons for celebrating National Tradesmen Day?

To Honor the Hardworking Men and Women in the Field

National Tradesmen Day celebrates all of the hard working people out there that do hands-on work on the third Friday of September. This includes electricians, plumbers, masons, mechanics, carpenters, and so much more. These committed men and women work hard to make sure that everything functions the way that it should.

Each trade field is different from the other, but they are each physically and mentally demanding in their own way. Tradespeople have the unique skill to solve issues and get things done. That’s what makes tradespeople so important and why we should honor them!

Because Interest in Trade Has Decreased

In the past decade or so, the amount of people interested in trade work has diminished. Despite the fact that there is still very much a demand for people with trade skills, there just aren’t enough people invested in learning a new trade skill. Being a tradesman opens the door to a multitude of different opportunities. It’s an incredibly rewarding job both mentally and physically. Every day is a new challenge, and there’s no greater sense of accomplishment than building or fixing something with your own two hands.

We believe that everybody should learn at least one trade in their life so that they can comprehend how interesting yet challenging it could be!

Because we want to honor our own team

This year, we wanted to spend a majority of the month honoring all the people that work as tradesmen and encouraging others to pursue a career in a trade skill!

We also wanted to, of course, honor our own employees. The Triangle Electric team is what makes Triangle Electric great! They are the key to our success as a company. We cannot praise our employees enough!

That’s why we gave an employee spotlight to Jacob Semadeni. Thanks for all the hard work, we appreciate it! Here’s a little bit about the man himself:

“Jacob Semadeni has been an apprentice for Triangle Electric since February 10, 2015, but has been in the industry for four years! He originally came from Bountiful, Utah but made his way to North Dakota for a career. Since he started working at Triangle, his favorite part of the job is Troubleshooting and his favorite project that he’s done thus far is WBI.

His favorite food is cheesecake because it’s delicious! His favorite movie is Top Gun, and his dream car is a 1970 Dodge Challenger. If he could go anywhere in the world, Jacob would go to the Maldives.

In the past 5 years, the most important thing he’s learned is how to budget money. People would describe him as a hard-working, organized, and punctual individual. Outside of work, Jacob enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and playing football. When he’s not working, he tries to spend as much time with his family as possible. In fact, his philosophy in life is ‘family first’ and he defines success as being surrounded by loved ones. In life, his biggest supporter is his wife and he is most proud of her for bringing their daughter into the world.”

We hope you all enjoyed celebrating National Tradesmen Day with us! We sincerely believe that tradesmen deserve the attention and success that they are given. They help our country prosper by building, fixing, and crafting the electrical systems we have, our water systems, and so on! Remember to thank your local tradesmen for what they do!
